Sheath sleeve

The sheath sleeve is used to guide and orientate the various sheaths from the reels to the spinning machine.

The installation of a duct sheath consists of a cable tray, made up of hangers fixed to the ground, and duct sheaths. An installation may consist of one to several dozen ducts, depending on the project.

For optimum wiring, the ducts must comply with certain installation criteria. The ducts must be placed at a certain height, at a certain distance from the machine. Slopes and curve radii must also be rigorously defined.

To reduce the amount of space taken up by sleeves in the workshop, we can run them under tables or behind shelves. This solution optimises space and depends on both the configuration of your workshop and your requirements.

Tubular sheath for duct

The installation of sheaths creates a system of conduits linking reels and pneumatic brake cables to the spinning unit. It ensures optimum unwinding of ducts when spinning over long distances. An installation of this kind can comprise up to ten ducts, depending on the project. The installation criteria are strict to guarantee optimal wiring, and the Mecaspin teams ensure that they are respected. The sleeves must be positioned at a specific height above the ground and at a precise distance from the machine. To make the most of the space available, the sheaths can be positioned under tables or behind shelves, depending on the layout of the workshop and the installation plan.
